Her bilingualism and studies in Japanese reinforce her commitment to breaking down communication barriers in the legal system.
A Commitment Forged in Real Experience: Before becoming a lawyer, Keishla dedicated nearly a decade to working on the front lines of immigration. Starting in 2014, she was an integral part of ROOTS (Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services), where he rose to full accreditation from the Department of Justice (DOJ) to represent individuals before the Immigration Court. This hands-on experience granted him tactical knowledge of the courts that few attorneys possess at the start of their careers.
High-Level Academic Experience: Her passion for justice is backed by an outstanding academic record. Keishla graduated Cum Laude from the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) and achieved the highest distinction of Summa Cum Laude upon obtaining her Juris Doctor in Puerto Rico in 2022. Admitted to practice law in 2023, Keishla today combines that intellectual rigor in the field to offer a bold, strategic, and humane defense to each of the families she represents.
